Pilates Testimonials
Since starting Pilates 8 months ago with Deb Bowen, I have lost a total of 25 inches from my frame. Pilates comes across as effortless, yet I can feel the changes occurring after each session. The strength I now have feels powerful but not overly muscular. I stand taller. I work from my core. I am aware. Training with Deb and her staff has been wonderful. I feel as if I've expanded my circle of friends and I look forward to sessions whether it be in a private or group class. Pilates has been the one workout that I have stayed with because of how it makes me look and more importantly, feel.

"My job as a wildland firefighter requires me to maintain a certain level of fitness. With as active as I am, I've had my share of tweeks and injuries. Most I have impatiently pushed through and as a result I have created a lot of muscular imbalances in my body. The hard I train the more pronounced the problem seems to get. It was recommended to me by my physical therapist to go back to working on the core basics with Pilates and target those muscles I've learned to live without by compensating with another. My experience with Debby Bowen and Rebound Pilates has far exceeded my expectations. Debby took the time to talk to my physical therapist in addition to her own visual assessment of my core strengths and weaknesses. Most importantly, to me, she took an active interest in my personal goals/expectations and always kept my physical limitations in mind so we could easily work through or around them. "Three years ago I sustained a spinal chord injury leaving me with a full body paralysis. I have attempted many forms of therapy. Nearly one year ago I met Debby and began doing private Pilates sessions. My approach to rehabilitation since then has changed incredibly. I have a strong understanding of our body's muscular needs and I have found that Pilates is needed for proper strength and stability as well as a solid foundation.
